Weekly Progress

 This is my weekly progress

Week 2:

- This week we got in our group through a very unorthodox method and this time where we're making a crime documentary opening, and Mr. Nick mixed us all up to different groups to incentivize creativity adaptation and socialization, the effectiveness of this sort of arrangement is debatable, thank fully I had one person in my group who I knew and have some reprieve.
- this weeks theory lesson was about media regulation and it's effects on information and the lack there of

Week 3:

- This week me and my group got to work with our statement of intent laying the building block to build upon our intro to our crime documentary, I suggested to name it YOU for dramatic effect and to emphasize the rivalry within the documentary but I ultimately decided against it through further notice, we have in my opinion need a lot more time to discuss this sort of topic to better refine our vision for this project, as I have took it upon myself to be the groups editor which I am very exited for
- this weeks theory lesson was about Livingstone and Lunt all bout media regulation and it's difficulties
we had to get in pairs not the fruit, and debate about certain points and are gives prompts to argue for and against me and my partner absolutely destroyed everyone. The case study was about the Southport stabbings

Week 4:

- This week our roles for the project was decided and I was eagerly exited to be the groups editor as I really wanted to improve on that department and I think this is a great opportunity to do so. now we're on storyboarding and my other teammates are tasked with finishing that and the script also. This weeks theory lesson centered around Power and the media with discussions about Elon Musk and his acquisition of X formerly known as twitter, and the impact that had on the wider online social media landscape. Mr. Nick has graciously gave us the keys to the kingdom with the permitted use of AI in our work, not the whole thing and we still needed to ask for permission but it is still a good thing. I personally didn't use AI only very sporadically and  even then quite rarely but I think this is a great opportunity to use and be familiar with a technology that has been widely denounced as the future.
